This situation attracted public and media attention, causing a wide resonance. Yuri Zaryadnov's wife, pianist Yulia Grekhova, in a conversation with "KP-Petersburg," provided her version of the events that previously caused a wide public outcry. According to her, the accusations against her of holding her husband hostage and applying physical violence to him are not true. Yulia Grekhova stated that the meeting mentioned by Yuri Zaryadnov was organized to discuss issues related to their divorce. According to her, her biological brother and a family friend — a legal expert who has always helped the family with legal matters — participated in this meeting. The pianist emphasized that Yuri Zaryadnov left the family but is avoiding the official start of the divorce process. She noted that she has a notary ready to assist in preparing all necessary documents. Yulia reported that her demands from her ex-husband include the following points: the children should stay with her, Yuri should gift his share of the house to the children, not to her, the children can carry her surname, as she comes from a military dynasty, while he comes from a singing one. Additionally, she demands alimony payments of 50,000 rubles for each child. Grekhova also noted that after Yuri's statement to the police, all participants of the meeting were questioned. She expressed confidence that the initiation of a criminal case would be refused, as no one hit or held Yuri against his will. She emphasized that as a wife, she cannot illegally hold her husband, and that he is an adult man and the father of three children. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has a Telegram channel.
