A new route for air delivery of small cargo will be tested in Nizhny Novgorod.

      April 21, 2026 15:56 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, testing of a new air delivery route for small-sized cargo will begin on April 22. The trials will take place within the framework of the experimental legal regime currently in effect in the region, which allows for the testing of innovative solutions in real conditions. The air courier route will run between two points – on Kostin and Komintern streets. All flights will be conducted in a planned manner and in compliance with established safety requirements. The devices used are equipped with aeronautical navigation equipment, a parachute system, and safety lights. These lights will be visible from the ground. It is worth noting that the implementation of unmanned technologies in civilian sectors is one of the key tasks of the national project "Unmanned Aerial Systems."
