The social campaign "Home Assistance" has reached more than 300 residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The initiative of "United Russia" has been implemented within the framework of the party project "People's Deputy."

In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the "Home Assistance" campaign has concluded. The party initiative is aimed at supporting pensioners, veterans of combat operations, and residents of the region in need of assistance. Applications are accepted from citizens and promptly processed by activists and volunteers. More than 300 residents of the region received help. "The most valuable aspect of the 'Home Assistance' campaign is the human warmth that our activists provide to those who are sometimes deprived of even simple communication. Deputies, young guards, and timurovtsy — all unite to do good together. The campaign took place on the eve of Easter — a holiday that reminds us all of the important role that mercy plays in a person's life. Thanks to such initiatives, we not only help with household chores — we give people faith that they are not alone, and that is worth more than any gift," noted Dmitry Filipenko, head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional executive committee of the "United Russia" party.

On the eve of Easter, Nikolai Tolmachev, a deputy of the Gaginsky municipal district council, visited war children living in the village of Vetoshkino. He presented holiday gifts and expressed gratitude for their resilience and ability to keep light and kindness in their hearts. Elderly people received assistance with household chores: pre-holiday cleaning was conducted in the homes of pensioners.

In the Pilnensky municipal district, the "Home Assistance" campaign was joined by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Deputies Alexander Lukachev, Chairwoman of the Youth Chamber Anna Khlamina, together with timurovtsy from the Stolbishchenskaya secondary school.

Volunteer support was provided to Lydia Ivanovna Lukacheva, a deserving teacher of the RSFSR and former director of the Stolbishchenskaya school. The team of volunteers tidied up the house and the surrounding area. The guys stacked firewood, cleaned up the trash around the property, washed the windows and ceiling. They also conducted a "garden inspection": they cut down old bushes, swept the terrace, and watered the seedlings.

In Nizhny Novgorod, Deputy Roman Ponomarenko organized assistance for the mother of a deceased participant of the special military operation — Irina Pavlovna, a disabled person of group II. The daily work at home requires significant effort from the woman. Volunteers from the "United Russia" party joined the deputy's initiative, showing concern, responsibility, and a sincere desire to help. Volunteers tidied up the yard, removed dry grass and trash, neatly arranged the flowerbed, and also weeded the beds.

Volunteers and activists from the local branch of the "United Russia" party in the Moscow district came to the aid of the NROO "Live Truly." The center works with children and teenagers with disabilities. The labor team tidied up the premises and washed the windows.

"The 'People's Deputy' project is not only about lawmaking but also about real actions aimed at helping those in need. Today our activists went out to help the public organization 'Live Truly.' We understand how important it is to support such centers, creating comfortable and clean conditions for children. Such campaigns unite people and show that doing good is simple and important for each of us," emphasized Vasily Sukhanov, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region and secretary of the local branch of the "United Russia" party in the Moscow district.

In the Krasnooktyabrsky municipality, a team of volunteers consisting of deputies, members, and supporters of the local branch of the "United Russia" party actively participated in the "Home Assistance" campaign. Cleaning was conducted in the home of pensioner Nurullin Yarulla from the village of Poshatovo. Activists washed the windows, floors, and walls, and dusted. Assistance was also provided to several other lonely pensioners: cleaning was conducted, and drinking water was delivered to them.

"For me, as a deputy, it is very important to see how residents unite to solve common tasks. Joint cleaning at the homes of lonely elderly people is not just about tidying up, but a manifestation of attention and care for the older generation and those in need of help. I am grateful to all my party colleagues who responded and participated in the campaign. This is a real embodiment of the principles of our project — to be closer to people and work for the benefit of everyone," emphasized Maria Podshivalova, acting secretary of the local branch of the "United Russia" party in the Krasnooktyabrsky district.

In the Navashinsky municipal district, assistance to pensioners was provided by activists and volunteers from the local branch of the "United Russia" party together with municipal council deputy Nadezhda Dubova. Cleaning of the yard areas was conducted in the municipality.

The Buturlinsky district joined the "Home Assistance" campaign. Deputy Natalia Kochurova actively participated in the work. The activist delivered food and water to elderly residents of the village of Bolshie Bakaldy. Local volunteers assisted pensioners in the urban-type settlement of Buturlino with cleaning and other household chores.

With the support of deputy Ilya Orzhantsev, volunteers in the Voskresensky municipal district conducted a series of cleanings and promptly pumped out water from the basement of one of the institutions.

Let us remind you that the goal of the "Home Assistance" campaign is to provide targeted support to elderly people, citizens with limited mobility, and families of participants in the special military operation in solving household issues, delivering medicines and food, conducting medical measurements, and educational conversations about a healthy lifestyle. Party volunteers, including activists from the "Young Guard," go to the applicants' homes.

The campaign took place as part of the implementation of the "People's Deputy" project, which aims to increase trust in municipal deputies through transparent interaction with residents and joint work on specific issues.
