The flood has submerged areas, houses, and roads in 27 districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      April 11, 2026 09:40 Society Over the past day, on April 10, new cases of flooding have been recorded in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The data was published by the regional emergency management agency. In Bor, water has entered the private plots in the gardening association "Kolos" in the village of Kantaurovo. A similar situation occurred in the village of Annenkovsky Quarry in the Vadsky district on Zelenaya Street. In the Voskresensky district, in the village of Bolshie Otary, both residential houses and private plots have been flooded. At the same time, over the course of the day, 182 private plots were freed from water, as well as four sections of roads: near the village of Madaevo in the Pochinkovsky district, on the Voskresenskoye — Bolshaya Yuronga road 500 meters from the village of Bolshoye Pole, on the Semenov — Ilino — Zaboroskoe — Kovernino highway near the village of Pustyn, and also in the Gorodetsky district on the Uzola River. A total of flood situations remain under control in 27 municipalities of the region. Currently, 63 residential houses, 1,134 private plots, 14 low-water bridges, and 19 sections of roads are flooded. According to the emergency management agency, there are no casualties or injuries. Evacuation of residents to temporary accommodation points is not required. A round-the-clock monitoring of the flood situation has been organized in the region, and operational groups from municipalities monitor the situation daily. It was previously reported that investigators have begun an inquiry into the flooding of the gardening association "Kolos" in Bor.
