      On April 8, 2026, at 17:38, Politics In Nizhny Novgorod, new rules for the procurement of equipment and transport for the city council and administration have been approved. The corresponding resolution has been published on the city hall's website. The document establishes maximum amounts that officials can spend on goods for official needs. According to the new requirements, the cost of a laptop must not exceed 100,000 rubles, and a tablet must not exceed 60,000 rubles. For passenger cars, the limit is set at 1.5 million rubles. Restrictions have also been introduced on the purchase of mobile phones and payment for communication services. The price of a phone is limited to 15,000 rubles, and monthly communication expenses must not exceed 4,000 rubles.
