      On April 8, 2026, at 17:38, Politics In Nizhny Novgorod, new rules for purchasing equipment and vehicles for the city council and administration have been approved. The corresponding resolution has been published on the city hall's website. The document establishes maximum amounts that officials can spend on goods for official needs. According to the new requirements, the cost of a laptop should not exceed 100,000 rubles, and a tablet should not exceed 60,000 rubles. For passenger cars, a limit of 1.5 million rubles has been set. Restrictions have also been introduced on the purchase of mobile phones and communication expenses. The price of a phone is limited to 15,000 rubles, and monthly communication expenses should not exceed 4,000 rubles.
