250 Nizhny Novgorod residents wanted to become volunteers for the voting on the FCGS.
April 7, 2026 15:53 Society 250 residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region have already joined the volunteer corps being formed ahead of the voting for the selection of improvement projects. Voting is held annually as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." Registration for new participants is open until June 5, 2026. The voting itself will take place from April 21 to June 12.
Volunteer support for the project has been provided for the sixth consecutive year. The tasks of the volunteers include informing residents about design projects for public spaces (parks, embankments, squares, pedestrian areas, and plazas) and assisting in the selection of projects through the "Gosuslugi" portal. Volunteers also answer citizens' questions — from project implementation timelines to how to propose an initiative themselves.
"For many years, residents of Nizhny Novgorod have proven that change begins with a single step. Last year, it was the volunteers who helped thousands of residents make their choices, and largely thanks to their work, the voting took place without technical difficulties. It is encouraging that our volunteers are once again ready to actively engage in this process this year," said the Minister of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Svetlana Anufrieva.
Coordinating the work with volunteers in the Nizhny Novgorod region will be a regional headquarters established based on the ANO "Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region."
"We see a huge demand from residents of Nizhny Novgorod to participate in the life of the region. Volunteers are one of the key links between residents' initiatives and their implementation. Already 250 people are with us, but this is just the beginning — registration continues, and we invite everyone to join. It is important for us that as many active residents of Nizhny Novgorod as possible can make a personal contribution to creating a comfortable urban environment. We look forward to seeing you in our volunteer corps!" emphasized the General Director of the Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Tatyana Druzhinina.
Volunteers will work at information points and in public spaces, helping to vote in a simplified format. Anyone over the age of 14 can become a volunteer. No special experience is required — the necessary knowledge can be gained during training at the regional headquarters. All that is needed is sociability and a desire to change the world for the better. All volunteers will receive verified hours on the Dobro.pf platform.
"People care about how their yards, parks, and public spaces will look. It is gratifying to see the high civic activity of those wishing to become volunteers. This is a reliable foundation that makes our region better. If you want to live in a beautiful, modern, and comfortable city, do not stay on the sidelines! Each of you can contribute to the development of the region. By joining the ranks of volunteers, you can help your neighbors make the right choice and personally ensure the transparency of the process. Join the 250 residents of Nizhny Novgorod who have already proven that together we can do more! Let's create a city where our children and grandchildren will want to live," said the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Committee on Housing and Utilities and the Fuel and Energy Complex (United Russia faction), Vladimir Bespalov, inviting residents of Nizhny Novgorod to join the ranks of volunteers.
To join the project as a volunteer, it is necessary to register on the Dobro.rf portal at the link: https://dobro.ru/event/11588234.
