      On April 6, 2026, at 16:08, Incidents: A structure consisting of three loggias collapsed on April 6 in an apartment building on Korolenko Street, 45, in Lukoyanov. According to the district administration, the cause was illegal redevelopment of the premises by the owners. Fortunately, there were no casualties. According to the administration, the structure was scheduled to be demolished on April 7. The decision to dismantle it was made at a meeting of the district emergency commission on March 30. At that time, a state of heightened readiness was introduced for the building, the area was cordoned off, and residents were warned about the risk of loggias collapsing due to unauthorized structural changes. Funds for the demolition were allocated from the district administration's reserve fund. Currently, damaged elements are being dismantled at the site of the collapse. The work is expected to be completed today by 21:00. After its completion, electricity and gas supply, which were temporarily disconnected, will be restored in the building. The costs for the work will be covered by the district administration, after which the expenses will be recovered from the property owners. It was previously reported that the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, demanded a report on the criminal case regarding the collapsing house in the village of Yuganets.
