The staff of the entrepreneurship support infrastructure improved their qualifications at the "My Business" intensive school.

      On April 5, 2026, at 11:33 AM, Economy: More than 60 leaders and staff from entrepreneurship support infrastructure in the municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod region underwent training during the "Intensive School" course in Dzerzhinsk. The event was organized by the regional center "My Business" in accordance with the goals and objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." The Intensive School for employees of the regional center "My Business" branches and entrepreneurship support centers has been held at least twice a year since 2019. The event allows specialists from municipalities to familiarize themselves with new initiatives, discuss common issues, and share best practices. Regular professional development plays a crucial role in increasing the efficiency of the centers' work and providing higher quality assistance to entrepreneurs. Representatives from the Ministry of Industry of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the regional center "My Business," the Industrial Development Fund, the regional Microcredit Company ("GosMFO"), the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Agency for the Development of the Guarantee System of the Nizhny Novgorod Region," the Import and Import Substitution Center, the Export Support Center, and the Nizhny Novgorod Innovation Business Incubator participated in the event. The Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Maxim Cherkasov, noted that today a wide range of business support measures is being implemented in the region, including those under the national projects "Effective and Competitive Economy" and "International Cooperation and Export." "Our task is to ensure the accessibility of these tools for entrepreneurs even in the most remote municipalities. This time we held the intensive school in a renewed format – we added practical work with real business requests to the usual training blocks. Infrastructure support organization leaders prepared typical requests that entrepreneurs come to them with and suggested discussing them in practice. Participants needed to build an individual project development map based on the initial data. Experts from the branches of the center "My Business" worked on cases related to export entry, import substitution, finding financing for new directions, and creating new products," said Maxim Cherkasov. As part of the educational program, participants examined current measures of state support for business, including financial instruments, the development of industrial infrastructure, and mechanisms for a "single window" for supporting entrepreneurs. The program also included networking sessions and training aimed at developing communication, negotiation skills, and enhancing the effectiveness of interaction with entrepreneurs. "Today, when the economic situation requires increased flexibility from us, the role of the business support system multiplies. We understand that even a small but real step in business development can improve the situation. This platform is created for live and direct dialogue: for questions, answers, and new experiences. It is from such initiatives that large companies and new jobs are born.
