The river has overflowed its banks in Vyksa.

      In the village of Provolochnoe in the Vyksa district, 20 household plots were flooded due to the rising water level. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Nizhny Novgorod region. Water has penetrated the territory of private households. Firefighters and representatives of the local administration are working on-site. Specialists are pumping out water using fire motor pumps. As the head of the 56th fire and rescue unit of Vyksa, Dmitry Krestin, explained, the river overflowed its banks and flooded the coastal areas. Together with the administration, they dug a small breach with an excavator to redirect the water back into the riverbed. Water from the plots and gardens is being pumped out using a pumping station and a pump. The administration is bringing in tons of sand. It will be leveled to prevent water from the river from flowing towards the plots. Recall that earlier, flooding destroyed a bridge in Kulebaki.
