"Torpedo" will face "Metallurg" in the quarter-finals of the Gagarin Cup.

      April 2, 2026 15:49 Sports Three pairs for the quarter-finals of the Gagarin Cup in 2026 have been determined.

      The series in Group A will start on April 8. In this part of the bracket, "Lokomotiv" will play against the winner of the matchup between "Avtomobilist" and "Salavat Yulaev". Also in the group, "Avangard" will face CSKA.

      Matches in Group B will begin on April 9. "Metallurg" will have a series against Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo", while Minsk's "Dynamo" will play against "Ak Bars".

      The winners of the pairs within their groups will advance to the semi-finals.

      The last participant in the quarter-finals will be determined based on the results of the "Avtomobilist" — "Salavat Yulaev" series. Currently, the Ufa team is ahead — 3:2. The sixth match of the confrontation will take place on April 2 in Ufa.

      It was previously reported that Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo" advanced to the second round of the Gagarin Cup, defeating "Severstal" with a score of 4:3.
