Nizhny Novgorod companies are invited to participate in the XVI Congress of the Children's Goods Industry.

The organizers of the congress are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Association of Enterprises of the Children's Goods Industry. The partner is the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region. "The Nizhny Novgorod region is consistently forming a modern childhood infrastructure, where industry serves as an important tool for implementing social and demographic policies. As part of the Nizhny Novgorod life project 'FOUNDATION', one of the support measures for young families is the 'Gift for Newborns'. Thanks to this initiative, parents can choose children's products from Nizhny Novgorod manufacturers from over 600 items. More than 13,000 families have already benefited from this measure. Participation in the Congress of the Children's Goods Industry is an opportunity to present our solutions at the federal level, exchange experiences with other regions, and develop new approaches to support families with children," emphasized the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin. The Nizhny Novgorod region became the first subject of the Russian Federation to confirm participation in the Congress of the Children's Goods Industry. The region will present an exhibition of the Children's Goods Industry Cluster of the Nizhny Novgorod region. "The region has a whole range of measures for the development of the childhood industry. For about three years, a specialized cluster has been operating, which includes more than 100 enterprises. The products of these companies will be showcased at the stand. Nizhny Novgorod companies will present a wide range of children's products, including textiles, furniture, educational games, and play equipment, as well as hygiene products," said the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Maxim Cherkasov. The Nizhny Novgorod cluster of children's goods manufacturers includes enterprises producing clothing, furniture, household chemicals, specialized hygiene products, sports equipment, children's literature, interactive sensory panels, and other products for children. The exhibition stand will include a thematic area with an exhibition of a rental point for children, a playroom, and a mother and child room. A negotiation area will also be organized for meetings with potential customers, and a multimedia installation will demonstrate the regional project 'Gift for Newborns'. Special attention will be paid to the systematic work of the Nizhny Novgorod region in forming sustainable demand for domestic products in the children's goods industry. This includes mechanisms for public procurement, programs for equipping educational and social institutions, as well as comprehensive solutions aimed at supporting families with children. "The Nizhny Novgorod region demonstrates one of the most systematic and well-developed approaches to the development of the children's goods industry. The region's participation in the Congress among the first confirms its leadership positions and readiness to share practices that can be scaled in other subjects of the Russian Federation," noted the president of the Association of the Children's Goods Industry, Antonina Tsitsulina. Within the business program, legislative aspects of the development and regulation of the children's goods industry, the implementation of national projects, and the all-Russian competition 'Native Toy' will be discussed. Participants will also be able to receive consultations from experts of the CGI Business Club. Excursions to industrial, social, and educational sites in Moscow are planned. More than 30 events will be held in total. In addition, at the session 'Growth Regions: Childhood Infrastructure Standards - Scaling and Industrial Cooperation', speakers will discuss the role of the subjects of the Russian Federation in developing childhood infrastructure and the children's goods industry.
