In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the operation "Clean Generation - 2026" will start in April.

      March 29, 2026 10:54 Society From April 6 to 15, the first stage of the operation "Clean Generations - 2026" will take place in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      As reported by the regional drug control department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the aim of this event is to prevent drug addiction among teenagers and youth, identify cases of their involvement in illegal drug trafficking, and raise awareness about the risks of drug use and the responsibility for distribution.

      As part of the operation, the residences of at-risk teenagers and families registered with authorities will be checked, as well as places of mass gatherings of youth. Raids are planned to identify cases of drug use without prescription.

      The regional government and the Ministry of Internal Affairs will conduct anti-drug activities, including discussions in schools and the use of the internet to inform the public.
