      March 23, 2026 18:35 Culture and Leisure The public benches building "Skoba" on Rozhdestvenskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod has been granted the status of a regional cultural heritage site. This was reported by the press service of the regional government. The building was constructed between 1859 and 1861 and is part of the historical development of the so-called Lower Posad. Due to its distinctive shape, the building was named "Skoba," a name that has since spread to the surrounding area. Currently, the restored building houses the competence center "KUPNO. Start," created with the participation of the regional government, as well as commercial organizations, including a restaurant. It was also previously reported that the Three Saints Quarter in the center of Nizhny Novgorod has been included in the register of cultural heritage sites.
