A digital service for hunters and fishermen has appeared in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On March 22, 2026, at 09:49, Society Life Situation "Hunting and Fishing" became available for residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region on the "Gosuslugi" portal.

      The service page has published the procedure for actions, as well as collected the necessary links to public services related to the first hunting and fishing. In particular, through the portal, one can obtain a permit for the extraction of hunting resources.

      Users also have access to answers to frequently asked questions. In particular, the portal provides information on how to store a gun, what to do if the weapon was inherited, and in which cases it is necessary to pass a knowledge test and confirm skills that are part of the minimum hunting requirements.

      The Ministry of Digital Development reminded that "life situations" have become a new stage in the development of the public services system. One such service typically combines about 17 public services related to a common theme and allows them to be obtained comprehensively in a "one-stop shop" mode. Examples of such solutions include "Admission to University," "House Construction," "Protection from Online Fraud," "Large Families," and others.

      Last year, 36 new comprehensive solutions in the format of "Life Situations" appeared on "Gosuslugi." In total, there are already almost 70 on the portal.

      The integration of services based on the principle of "Life Situations" is a fundamental element of the reform of public service provision within the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State," which is being implemented on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
