The traffic police officers, together with the Public Council, delighted Nizhny Novgorod's female drivers ahead of the upcoming holiday.

      In the run-up to International Women's Day, the traffic police of Nizhny Novgorod, together with the responsible secretary of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Nizhny Novgorod, supported by a regional radio station, held the event "Flowers for Lady Drivers." The traffic police prepared an unusual surprise for women drivers: cars with lady drivers were stopped "for document checks," and instead, they received festive greetings, flowers, and many gifts from the event partners. The participants of the event heard many warm words. They were wished health, happiness, and adherence to traffic rules. The officers noted that the politeness and culture on the road demonstrated by women drivers serve as a special example for all road users. Oleg Pikunov, the responsible secretary of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Nizhny Novgorod, delighted the participants with an original musical gift – an unusual surprise that became part of the festive event. "Everyone's mood is simply magnificent. The event is rated five plus. I think this is a wonderful gift for all women," noted the public figure. The lady drivers gratefully accepted the gifts and promised to be attentive on the road and strictly adhere to traffic rules.
