Lulin called on businesses to expand support for large families.
The Chairman of the Legislative Assembly considers the implementation of the charitable project "Let Mom Smile" worthy of replication. On January 14, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Evgeny Lyulin, got acquainted with the work of one of the leading clinics in Nizhny Novgorod and discussed the promising directions for the development of the charitable project "Let Mom Smile" with the General Director of the medical holding, doctor Natalia Zasypkina. This was reported by the press service of the regional parliament. "More than 20 years ago, together with Natalia Petrovna, we initiated this project. Mothers of many children were able to receive free comprehensive dental care. The birth of a child is a great joy, but also great worries. In order for mothers to smile and feel confident, we created a program that helps them maintain the health and beauty of their teeth. It was important for us to offer exactly the help they need. And we are very glad that the project continues to live," emphasized the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Evgeny Lyulin. "We have resumed the work of our project 'Let Mom Smile.' It involves mothers of many children with really serious problems requiring complex treatment, and we help them fully restore their oral health. Currently, 65 women from different districts of the Nizhny Novgorod Region are participating in the program. They have undergone examinations, and treatment plans have been drawn up. We are focused on the quality of the assistance provided and the in-depth processing of each case. By the way, most of the doctors who are currently treating the mothers worked in the clinic back then, more than 20 years ago, when we were just launching the project," said Natalia Zasypkina. "In addition, we actively participate in state programs to support families, including projects related to reproductive health and infertility treatment through IVF. For us, this is a logical continuation of the philosophy of assistance: first, we help a woman become a mother, and then we support her health, including giving her a beautiful and healthy smile. It seems to us that such a comprehensive approach, caring for the family at all stages, is the most correct and in demand." One of the patients was a mother of many children from Dzerzhinsk, Irina Suslova, who, along with her husband, is raising nine children - eight girls and one boy. The youngest, Eva, was born in July of last year. "For mothers of many children, all their strength and attention go to the children, so it is not always possible to find time to take care of themselves. It is such a joy that I was invited to participate in the project 'Let Mom Smile'! This is a real gift," shared her impressions Irina Suslova. "It is important that there are business representatives in the Nizhny Novgorod Region who think like the state: not only developing their business but also understanding the need for social responsibility, helping those who need it most. Today, it is especially important not just to talk about demographics but to really support families. The state offers measures, and it is great that business is actively involved in this work. I would like this example to become a model for others. So that not only medical but also commercial and cultural institutions could introduce special conditions for large families. Some things are already being done, but it is still not enough. Such projects need to be replicated. It is important to unite the efforts of the state and private business to support large families," concluded the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Evgeny Lyulin.
