As reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region, the criminals posed as employees of the "Gosuslugi" portal and the Central Bank.
Following their instructions, the woman transferred 389,386 rubles to an allegedly "safe account." Then the fraudsters convinced her to sell her car and also transfer the proceeds to the specified accounts.
After that, the resident of Shakhunya took out a loan for 300,000 rubles to transfer to an external card.
The woman became suspicious when she was offered to purchase 10 self-activation SIM cards and register them in her mother's name.
A criminal case has been initiated.
