Ukrainian drone shot down in Nizhny Novgorod region

      December 4, 2025 07:35 Incidents The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported a large-scale attack by Ukrainian drones recorded on the night of December 4. According to the agency, Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 76 unmanned aerial vehicles directed at the country's territory. One of the targets of the attack was the Nizhny Novgorod region, where one drone was shot down. The highest activity from drones was observed in Crimea, where air defense systems neutralized 21 devices. Attacks were also recorded in other regions of southern Russia. In the Rostov region, Russian military forces destroyed 16 drones, and in the Stavropol region — 14.
