The Privolzhsky Transport Prosecutor's Office is monitoring the observance of labor rights of former employees of LLC "Airline VIM-AVIA" during the bankruptcy proceedings. The airline was declared insolvent (bankrupt) in September 2018 and ceased its operations. Previously, through the prosecutor's response measures, it was possible to achieve the repayment of wage arrears to more than 1,100 employees of the airline amounting to over 280 million rubles. Currently, thanks to the intervention of the supervisory authority, the bankruptcy manager has conducted activities to calculate the amounts of compensation for delayed wage payments. Such compensations have been paid to 294 employees in the amount of over 13.1 million rubles. The observance of labor rights of former employees of the airline is under the control of the transport prosecutor's office.
