Finishing works are being completed at the main arena of the ice palace at Strelka in Nizhny Novgorod.

      The contractor is completing the main finishing works on the main arena of the ice palace at Strelka in Nizhny Novgorod. All spectator seats, the board system, the media ring, and the media strip have already been installed. The installation of barriers is nearing completion, and sound insulation is being installed in the premises. Currently, finishing works are underway in public spaces and under-tribune areas. The installation of facade panels, engineering equipment, and the construction of internal partitions are ongoing. Additionally, preparatory work for the installation of the media facade is being carried out at the site. The installation of intra-site and internal engineering networks is nearing completion, and the installation of elevators has been completed. Landscaping is being conducted in the adjacent area.

      "The builders have already completed a significant amount of work in the bowl of the main playing arena. Preparations are now underway for the installation of the media cube, as well as the finishing of the boxes and public spaces. Furthermore, the contractor is working on the installation of the board system in the training arenas. Currently, more than two thousand people are working at the site, with approximately 60 units of equipment involved," said Igor Ishchenko, General Director of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.

      Let us remind you that the ice palace will consist of a main arena with stands for 12,000 spectators and two training grounds, each designed for 250 spectators. The complex will also include a universal sports hall and an acrobatics hall. The construction is being carried out under a concession agreement between the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region and LLC "Ice Palace" (a subsidiary of JSC "Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation").
