Nizhny Novgorod will allocate 31.5 million rubles for road markings in 2026.

      In 2026, large-scale work to apply horizontal road markings is planned in Nizhny Novgorod. According to information from the public procurement portal, 31.55 million rubles have been allocated from the budget for these purposes.

      The customer is the municipal budgetary institution "Specialized Installation and Maintenance Institution of the City of Nizhny Novgorod." The work will cover 507 sites, including carriageways, bike lanes and sections determined by plan-assignments that will be provided to the contractor before work begins. Note that Kstovsky District is not listed among the streets to have markings renewed.

      Markings will be applied using paint, thermoplastic and cold plastic. Both machine and manual application methods will be used. The list of types of markings includes lines of various types and widths, including rumble strips and yellow infill between lines.

      Applications to participate in the tender are accepted until January 14, 2026. The results are scheduled to be announced on January 16, 2026.

      Earlier it was reported that in 2026 Nizhny Novgorod plans to refresh road markings on 450 streets, including 91 streets in Kstovsky District.
