Serious violations were found at the Nizhny Novgorod dairy plant.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, employees of Rosselkhoznadzor completed an unscheduled inspection of the company LLC "MT Packaging Factory", which is engaged in processing and producing dairy products.

      The inspection covered production and storage facilities, as well as a refrigeration chamber. The inspection was conducted using the mobile app "Inspector".

      During the audit, specialists identified several serious violations. Products were stored in conditions that deviated from those specified by the manufacturer. The room intended for repackaging lacked the necessary equipment and utensils.

      Furthermore, the raw materials used in production did not comply with technical regulations and should have been subject to mandatory traceability. Errors were also recorded in the documentation of production operations.

      For laboratory tests, inspectors took samples of "Rossiysky" cheese and cottage cheese with 9% fat. In the latter, specialists found deviations in the fatty-acid composition. Such nonconformities violate the requirements of the Customs Union technical regulations — "On Food Safety" and "On the Safety of Milk and Dairy Products".

      Following the inspection, a protocol was drawn up against the company. The organization faces administrative liability.

      Earlier it was reported that 12 batches of imported vegetables and fruits infested with scale insects were detected in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
