"Chaika" lost to "Loko-76" in overtime.

      Nizhny Novgorod’s Chaika lost at home to Yaroslavl’s Loko-76 in overtime — 3:4.

      The visitors opened the scoring. Until the end of the first period, Alexey Tomilov’s team could not convert chances and level the game.

      In the second period Loko-76 doubled their lead. However, the Avtozavod side quickly responded: first Artyom Matyuk cut the deficit, and 24 seconds later Gleb Pugachyov equalized — 2:2.

      In the third period Pugachyov completed a brace and put the Nizhny Novgorod side ahead — 3:2. But Loko-76 managed to equalize on the power play. Neither team scored for the remainder of regulation time.

      In overtime Chaika had a chance to snatch the win, but the puck hit the post. The Yaroslavl side, however, converted their chance and sealed the match — 3:4 in favor of Loko-76.

      With 27 points the Nizhny Novgorod side sit sixth in the Golden Division of the Eastern Conference.

      Chaika’s next match (6+) will be played on November 20 against Kuznetskie Medvedi.

      Earlier it was reported that the farm club Torpedo-Gorky lost to Chelmet 0:1.
