In the Vyksa urban district, the road repairs planned for 2025 have been completed.

      In the Vyksa urban district of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, repairs of motor roads scheduled for 2025 under the national project "Infrastructure for Life" were completed ahead of schedule. This was reported by the Main Directorate for Highways of the region.

      Work was carried out on three key sections with a total length of about 18 kilometers. Roads were brought up to standard on the routes "Vyksa — Nizhnyaya Vereya — recreation area", "Access to the city of Vyksa from the Vladimir — Murom — Arzamas highway" and "Novodmitrievka — Semilovo". The total contract value amounted to 351 million rubles.

      The director of the State Public Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Main Directorate for Highways" (GUAD), Leonid Samukhin, noted that the timely completion of road works under the national project directly affects the district’s economy and residents’ comfort, improving territorial connectivity and reducing transport costs.

      In addition, contracts have already been signed in the district for the repair of five road sections totaling about 35 kilometers in 2026. Some of the work may begin this year, which will reduce the load on the road network next season and ensure the plan is carried out within a tight timeframe.

      Recall that road repairs in the Nizhny Novgorod Region are carried out under the program "Safe High-Quality Roads" as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, to provide citizens with modern infrastructure. The project includes 11 federal directions aimed at the development of road construction, housing and utilities, traffic safety, and the development of public transport.
