Uruguayan forward Juan Boselli does not want to extend his contract with Pari Nizhny Novgorod. Insider Ivan Karpov reports this.
According to him, the 25-year-old striker has attracted interest from Lokomotiv, as well as several clubs from China. The Uruguayan's contract with Pari NN expires in the summer. So far he refuses to renew the agreement and, according to Karpov, hopes to move to a more "high-profile" club.
"Meanwhile Boselli has scored more on his own than all the players of Nizhny: he has hit eight goals against opponents in the RPL and the Fonbet Russian Cup this season — Olusegun, Grulev, Castillo and Vesino have only five goals between them. To date — Juan is the club's only hope of avoiding relegation from the Premier League. Boselli influences the outcome of matches and single-handedly turns games around. He has everything: bursts, dribbling, ball control, speed, a goalscoring instinct, a well-placed shot," the insider noted.
The player's father and agent Pablo Boselli confirmed to Chempionat that demand for the player is high.
It is worth noting that talks of a possible Boselli departure began back in the summer. At that time the club's then general director David Melik-Guseynov denied the rumors, stating that the player himself was not showing a desire to leave the team. Later Pari NN's sporting director Alexander Udaltsov also said that the club had not received offers that would satisfy all parties. According to him, an agreement was reached that Boselli would finish the season in Nizhny Novgorod.
Recall, Juan Boselli joined Pari NN in 2023. Before that he played for Portuguese clubs Gil Vicente and Tondela. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is €1.2 million.
Earlier it was reported that Pari NN midfielder Nikolai Kalinsky spoke about the atmosphere in the team amid 15 losses in 19 matches played.
