The university clinic of Nizhny Novgorod State University will begin accepting patients in November.

22 October 2025 14:30 Society — The University Clinic of the Institute of Clinical Medicine of NNSU has opened to patients. All residents of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region can now seek care at the medical facility, the university’s press service reported.

The director of the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Natalya Grigoryeva, reminded that the clinic began operating in March 2023 in a teaching reception format, where instructors demonstrated practical skills to students.

To date the clinic has obtained 16 licenses for various types of medical activity. A therapist, cardiologist, neurologist and dentist are already seeing patients, and patients can receive comprehensive care on a single site. Results of NNSU research are being implemented in practice: for the first time a cognitive age calculator has been used in the operation of a medical facility.

Starting in November the clinic is ready to accept all residents of the city and region. Consultations are provided both by current faculty — Candidates and Doctors of Medical Sciences — and by trainee doctors who already have medical education, continue their studies and are gaining practical experience.

Information about appointments with specialists and participation in medical research is posted on the clinic’s website. It can also be obtained by phone at 8 (831) 462-31-53.
