Improvement works on the courtyard areas of five apartment buildings have been completed in the Nizhegorodsky District.
According to the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod administration, the upgrades covered the sites at the following addresses: 5a Lopatina Street; 151 and 157b Ilyinskaya Street; 66 Malaya Yamskaya Street; and 4 Maly Yamskoy Lane.
The project was implemented using a subsidy provided to the housing management company from the city budget.
As noted by the head of the Nizhegorodsky District administration, Alexey Rybolovlev, repair locations were determined jointly with residents. Priority was given to those courtyards where the condition of sidewalks and driveways caused the most concern, and where parking areas were absent.
Work was carried out comprehensively: not only were the courtyard areas improved, but also the adjacent municipal squares.
A total of 23 courtyards were renovated in the district in 2025. In addition, funds were additionally allocated for the repair of the areas around the houses at 7/1 and 7/3 Fruktovaya Street. These works are planned to be completed by October 25.
The housing management company reported that as part of the improvements, driveways were asphalted, new sidewalks were installed, unauthorized inscriptions were removed from facades, and entrances to the apartment buildings were repaired.
Earlier, Nizhny Novgorod Mayor Yuri Shalabayev noted that almost 1 billion rubles had been allocated in 2025 for the repair of courtyard areas.
