A road traffic accident involving a passenger bus and a car occurred in Balakhna, Nizhny Novgorod Region.
According to information provided by the regional traffic police department, the crash happened on Vokzalnaya Street near house No. 35. Preliminary data indicate that a 61-year-old Volvo driver lost control, colliding with a PAZ bus driven by a man born in 1981.
The powerful impact forced the bus off the roadway. There were passengers on board, some of whom were injured.
The injured were taken to the Balakhna Central District Hospital to receive medical care.
Traffic police continue to clarify all the circumstances and causes of the incident.
