      On October 1, 2025, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the autumn conscription of citizens for military service began.

      "The Dzerzhinsk military commissariat is ready to carry out the draft. Dzerzhinsk servicemen will go to all branches of the Russian Armed Forces. The majority of them will be sent to training centers where they will receive a military occupational specialty and a profession. None of the conscripts will be sent to the zone of the special military operation (SMO)," said Dzerzhinsk military commissar Sergey Ovchar.

      Recall that from this year conscripts will receive summonses electronically. In Nizhny Novgorod Oblast it is planned to draft more than 2,100 people into the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Prior to dispatch, all conscripts will be provided with all types of allowances and supplies, including clothing and equipment. During the autumn conscription period, as before, the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast military commissariat will operate a "Telephone Hotline" on conscription issues at the following numbers:
