A major fire broke out in a store in the village of Bolshoye Murashkino.

      A large fire broke out in a shop located in an administrative building in the settlement of Bolshoye Murashkino. According to operational data from the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire spread over an area of about 700 square meters.

      The flames were so intense that the floor between the basement and the first floor collapsed. The fire reached the roof.

      Adjacent to the burning building is the 19th-century architectural monument the House of Merchant Olenichev, which now houses a children's school of arts. There is a risk that the fire will spread to it as well.

      Fortunately, there were no injuries.

      Firefighters continue to work at the scene. All circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

      Earlier it was reported that a man suffered severe burns in a fire on the premises of a motor transport enterprise in Nizhny Novgorod.
