26 mothers of large families from Nizhny Novgorod received honorary diplomas at the Kremlin.

      Twenty-six mothers of large families from the Nizhny Novgorod region were awarded honorary diplomas at the Kremlin as part of the celebration of the region's Large Families Day. This was reported by the Minister of Social Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Igor Sedykh, on his Telegram channel.

      The solemn award ceremony was held with the participation of the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Andrey Checherin.

      The awards were presented for a special contribution to the upbringing of children and the preservation of family values. Three mothers received an Honorary Diploma of the 1st Degree for raising seven or more children. Along with the diploma they were awarded a cash prize of 100,000 rubles.

      Eight women were recognized with a 2nd Degree diploma for raising six or more children. Each of them received a prize of 75,000 rubles. A 3rd Degree diploma was presented to fifteen mothers raising three or more children. The amount of the cash incentive was 50,000 rubles.

      Igor Sedykh noted that this award has special significance for the region. He emphasized that a strong large family is the foundation of the region’s future, and supporting such parents is an investment in a happy childhood, a strong society, and the sustainable development of the region.

      "Dear mothers! Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! Your work cannot be measured by numbers alone — it is thousands of warm words, sleepless nights, important lessons, hugs and smiles of children. You are true heroines, keepers of the family hearth and a support for the next generation. You are the pride of the Nizhny Novgorod region!" - Sedykh wrote.

      Earlier it was reported that in the Nizhny Novgorod region large families may be allowed to park two cars for free.
