A car accident in Vyksa involving a vehicle that fell from a bridge resulted in a criminal case.

A criminal case has been opened over a fatal road accident near the village of Motmos in Vyksa, the Nizhny Novgorod police reported.
Recall that on the night of 26 September a drunk driver was driving along Navashinskoe Highway. He accelerated so much that he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the railing of a bridge over the railway tracks. The car then flew into a ditch.
According to the Interior Ministry, the driver and a female passenger were taken by ambulance to the Vyksa Central District Hospital, while the other passenger died at the scene.
The case has been opened under part 4 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. An investigation is under way.
The mangled Hyundai has meanwhile been towed to an impound lot.
