      About ten flights to Moscow and other Russian cities were delayed at Nizhny Novgorod Airport over the past 24 hours, according to the airport's electronic display.

      At the moment, five flights to the capital are waiting to depart. Some of them were not scheduled to land in Nizhny Novgorod — their flights were diverted due to temporary restrictions in Moscow's airspace.

      In particular, passengers flying from Abu Dhabi were forced to spend the night at Chkalov Airport. According to the schedule, their flight is due to depart at 12:45.

      Currently, boarding is in progress for three flights, two are marked as "delayed", and one plane has already departed.

      On the previous night, flights to Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Sochi departed from the Nizhny Novgorod airport with significant delays.

      We should add that no restrictions were imposed at Chkalov Airport in the past 24 hours; however, they were in effect at Moscow's Sheremetyevo. The capital airport's operations were paralyzed by the "Kover" plan, implemented for security reasons.

      Earlier it was reported that more than 60 airports have already switched to Russian software.
