FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod will return to its home stadium in October.

      The RPL Sports Commission assessed the quality of the turf at Sovcombank Arena in Nizhny Novgorod and declared the pitch fully compliant with the requirements of the Russian Championship and Cup, FC Pari NN reported.

      This means the Nizhny Novgorod club will again play matches at its home arena. The first match after the return will take place on October 1 — as part of the FONBET Russian Cup, Pari NN will host Moscow's Spartak.

      Recall that the stadium was undergoing renovations, which caused the team to play at arenas in other regions. In mid-September it became known that the main work at the facility had been completed.

      It was also reported that last summer the "Nizhny Novgorod" stadium was renamed "Sovcombank Arena". The architectural lighting there was also updated.
