      A ceremonial launching of a dry cargo ship of the RSD59 project took place in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard. The working design documentation for the vessel was produced by the Volga-Caspian Design Bureau of USC. The self-propelled single-deck dry cargo ship of project RSD59 for sea and mixed (river-sea) navigation of the “Volgo-Don max” class is equipped with two cargo holds and two fully slewing VRK cargo cranes. The ship is intended for the carriage of general and bulk cargoes, packaged lumber, round timber, scrap metal, metal in bundles and coils, oversized, long and heavy cargoes, coal, dangerous goods and category “B” cargoes.
