Nizhny Novgorod authorities approved plots for investment projects worth 4.1 billion rubles.

      Economy. The Land and Property Relations Council under the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region approved the provision of plots for 29 new investment projects. The total amount of investments in them will exceed 4.1 billion rubles, and the number of jobs to be created is almost 1.4 thousand. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

      Deputy Governor Yegor Polyakov noted that most initiatives are related to the development of tourism and industry, but there are also social facilities.

      In particular, in Nizhny Novgorod on Shakespeare Street a kindergarten for 135 places will be built. The plot area will be 5,294 sq. m, the construction period two years, the investment volume 300 million rubles.

      Among the tourism projects, two glamping sites stand out: in the village of Diveyevo (211,350 sq. m, 180 million rubles, implementation period — three years) and in Borsky District (45,727 sq. m, 120 million rubles, seven years). Also in Borsky District a multipurpose sports complex will appear (23,702 sq. m, 200 million rubles, seven years).

      Significant investments are planned in the industrial sector. Thus, in Pervomaysk a mineral water production plant will be built (24,430 sq. m, 600 million rubles, two years). In Nizhny Novgorod a workshop for the production of burner devices will appear (Fedoseenko Street, 19,728 sq. m, 400 million rubles, five years) and a boiler house on the embankment of the Rowing Canal (2,009 sq. m, 322.2 million rubles, 15 months).

      Also in Nizhny Novgorod on Shuvalovsky Drive construction will begin on a complex for the production of concrete products (19,866 sq. m, 88.3 million rubles, 56 months), and in the area of the Shuvalovsky Canal — a workshop for the production of van bodies (14,980 sq. m, 70 million rubles, five years).

      In Dzerzhinsk an investor will implement a project to produce light steel structures (30,084 sq. m, 108 million rubles, three years), and in the settlement of Neklyudovo in Borsky District a facility will be established to manufacture parts for small boats (10,052 sq. m, 58.5 million rubles, 71 months).

      The government recalled that the Nizhny Novgorod Region ranks second in the National Investment Climate Ranking of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Applications for land plots can be submitted through the online service "Investor’s Personal Account", created as part of the "End-to-End Investment Flow" project and the regional investment standard. This mechanism makes it possible to speed up project implementation and reduce the volume of documents required from investors.
