Residents of Nizhny Novgorod can submit applications for children's summer stays at countryside camps for 2026 until 10 September. This was reported by the city Department of Education.
Documents can be processed at the district administration at the child's place of study or at any MFC office.
Vouchers are provided to families in which parents work in the public sector, are unemployed, or are pensioners who simultaneously serve as guardians, custodians, or foster parents. Non-working pensioners and participants in the special military operation can also be eligible for a voucher.
In addition, parents or legal representatives can receive compensation for part of the cost of a voucher to a countryside camp or be reimbursed for a voucher to a sanatorium and health center within Russia.
The department noted that this summer all sessions in eight municipal camps have concluded, and compensation payments have already begun. As of the end of August, expenses for more than 700 vouchers to countryside camps and over 200 to sanatorium institutions have been reimbursed.
District commissions continue to accept documents confirming a child's vacation from citizens who submitted an application for 2025 on time in 2024.
Consultations on filing applications, concluding contracts, and organizing vacations can be obtained on weekdays by calling the district administrations.
Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod residents were reminded about the curfew for children.
