The Feinstra family, who moved from Canada to Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, grew a giant watermelon. A photograph of the huge fruit was posted on the Telegram channel "COUNTRYSIDE ACRES In Russia."
The watermelon weighed 8 kg 730 g. It was grown on a farm in the Dalnekonstantinovsky district.
"This is a huge watermelon! Grown on a Nizhny Novgorod farm," reads the caption under the photograph published by the Feinstra family.
As a reminder, the Canadian family has been living in Russia since last year. They built a house in our region and are developing a farming enterprise.
But this is not the only case of a unique harvest in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. A resident of the Buturlinsky district boasted to a correspondent of IA "Vremya N" about a tomato weighing 1 kg 25 g.

"We didn't grow the tomato on purpose, it just turned out that way," the agency's interlocutor emphasized.
