      The Federal Postal Service Directorate (UFPS) of the Nizhny Novgorod Region of JSC "Russian Post" was fined over an accident involving a postman in Gorodets. This was reported by the press service of the Regional State Labor Inspectorate.

      Recall, the incident occurred in December 2024. A 68-year-old postman approached the fence of a residential building, and an enraged dog attacked him. The man suffered multiple injuries to his arms. Bystanders from a passing car rescued the postman and took him to the hospital.

      The Labor Inspectorate conducted an investigation and found that the accident occurred because the worker did not use personal protective equipment — a "dog deterrent." In addition, the managers and specialists of the subdivision did not monitor the course of work and compliance with labor discipline, and the employer failed to notify about the accident within the prescribed time.
