      The Regional Headquarters for Urban Development in the Nizhny Novgorod Region has approved Veren Group's master plan for the comprehensive development of the area on Lenin Avenue. This was reported by "Ъ-Privolzhye."

      As part of the project, the developer plans to demolish the abandoned "Russia" cinema on Lenin Avenue and build a new residential complex and a children's center for ice sports in its place.

      The "Russia" cinema, which had the city's largest screen, was acquired by Veren Group. Now, after the demolition of the building, an apartment building and a multifunctional children's center specializing in ice sports are planned for the freed-up plot.

      The architectural concept for the new residential complex and ice palace was developed by the well-known bureau "Ostozhenka." The company is currently in the process of formalizing an agreement for the comprehensive development of the territory (KRT).

      It was previously reported that the "Impulse" cinema building in Nizhny Novgorod was demolished in February 2024. A high-rise building is currently being constructed on its site.
