Economy: The fare for public transportation in Nizhny Novgorod will remain unchanged for now. This was reported to NIА "Nizhny Novgorod" by the regional tariff service of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
According to the department, neither the carriers nor the Ministry of Transport of the Nizhny Novgorod region have sent official proposals to revise the current tariffs. Therefore, no fare increases are planned in the near future.
The last change in the fare in Nizhny Novgorod occurred last summer. At that time, the price increased by five rubles: to 35 rubles when paying by card, and to 40 rubles in cash.
Since August 1, the fare has also increased on several bus routes connecting Nizhny Novgorod and Bors.
In addition, riding the Cable Car now costs 30 rubles more. The fare has risen to 150 rubles.
It was previously reported that the passenger traffic on the Kremlin funicular decreased after the fare changes.
