Oka will have beautiful shores.

      The Coastal neighborhood is one of the best in our city in terms of landscaping, including paved roads and sidewalks. Residents take great care of their yards with love. This was confirmed by participants of the latest tour of electoral districts. Recently, they visited district 31. The Head of the City Housing, Ecology, and Rational Use of Natural Resources Committee of the City Duma, Oleg Bogdanov, and the Mayor of Dzerzhinsk, Mikhail Klinkov, assessed the development of the Coastal neighborhood and highlighted its problem areas. The yards of nine buildings here have been improved under the "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" program, with four more to be included soon. The neighborhood includes large apartment buildings on Popova Street and Okskaya Embankment. It is home to Kindergarten No. 28, School No. 20, and the "Oka" sports and recreation complex. Mikhail Klinkov met with proactive residents who helped improve the yards of buildings No. 6 and 8A on Popova Street in 2024. School Director Tatiana Stepykina reported that this year the institution celebrates its 50th anniversary. During the summer renovation campaign, repairs will be made to the porch and facade, toilet facilities, replacement of beds and heating devices in the sports hall, foyer, and locker rooms, as well as window replacements. At Kindergarten No. 28, children not only play and learn but also acquire basic skills in plant care. The kindergarten has a small vegetable garden. According to the head of the institution, Elena Kislyakova, each group tends to its own vegetable bed. Attention was drawn to the need for additional funding for repairs of group rooms and landscaping of the territory. Naturally, the city authorities also paid attention to the Ok River embankment. The shoreline protection structures in its lower part have long needed repairs. These works are included in the City Development Strategy until 2030 – the "Dzerzhinsk-100" program. According to Mikhail Klinkov, this is a large city project. Additionally, the construction of access roads to social institutions is currently underway in the Coastal neighborhood. One resident of nearby houses requested the installation of speed bumps on the repaired road to regulate vehicle speed near the residential area and kindergarten. The issue was resolved on the spot. Soon, the entrance to the "Oka" FOC will be put in order.
