The general director of the football club "Pary NN," David Melik-Guseinov, expressed hope that the team will be able to resume playing at their home stadium as early as September.
Currently, the residents of Nizhny Novgorod are playing their matches at backup stadiums, as the main arena in Nizhny Novgorod is temporarily unavailable due to renovation work.
"The sooner we return to our stadium, the better. But much depends on the pace of the repairs," Melik-Guseinov noted in a comment to the publication "Championat."
According to him, facade work is ongoing, and roof work is scheduled to begin in August. The club's management hopes that contractors will complete the reconstruction ahead of schedule.
"We would like to return in September, but it is beyond our control," added the club’s head.
It was previously reported that the floodlighting of the football stadium in Nizhny Novgorod has been updated.
