      Incidents

      A tragic incident occurred at the "Yantarny" beach in the Dalnekonstantinovsky district—presumably, a 14-year-old boy drowned. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by witnesses.

      According to available information, the teenager’s mother raised the alarm around 15:15 when she noticed her son was out of sight. Police officers and an ambulance team arrived at the scene.

      A family acquaintance stated that the boy went kayaking with friends, but ultimately, he was the only one who did not return.

      Initial searches of the lake immediately after the disappearance yielded no results. It is known that the minor was not a strong swimmer.

      A diving team was called only some time after the presumed accident.

      Additionally, there is no lifeguard on duty at the beach.

      Search efforts are ongoing.
