
Young media specialists from Nizhny Novgorod are invited to participate in the All-Russian "SHUM" Award.

Applications for the All-Russian Youth Media and Journalism Award "SHUM" are accepted until August 17. This large-scale competition for journalists, bloggers, and media professionals aged 14 to 35 aims to unite and encourage talented youth implementing socially significant projects in media and journalism.
The award features 12 nominations: "Heroic Country," "Bright Start," "Media Credit," "Regional Voice," "Front Page," "Our People," "Family Values," "Connecting Link," "Native Land," "Looking to the Future," "Youth Energy," "Russia's Heritage."
Winners will receive financial support: 600,000 rubles for first place, 300,000 for second, and 100,000 for third. The total prize fund amounts to 12 million rubles.
Participants should register on premiyashum.ru by August 17, select a suitable nomination, and upload their best works.
The competition consists of four stages: application submission (until August 17), remote selection (September 5–20), public voting (September 29–October 18), and onsite defenses in Moscow (October 24). The final and award ceremony will be held on October 25 at the "Russia" National Center.
The organizers of the all-Russian Youth Media and Journalism Award "SHUM" are the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodyozh) and the Kaliningrad Region Government, represented by ANO "Youth Center 'SHUM'." The award is part of the federal project "Russia – Land of Opportunities," within the national project "Youth and Children."
Note:
In 2024, the project gathered over 10,000 participants from across the country. The 15 winners from various regions used their prizes for professional development and project promotion.
