Fatal accident on M-7 highway in Nizhny Novgorod region: two killed

      Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with the Vorotynsk Emergency Rescue Squad, participated in eliminating the consequences of a serious traffic accident that occurred at kilometer 565 of the M-7 "Volga" federal highway near the village of Nikolskoye.

      This was reported by the Nizhny Novgorod Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

      According to preliminary information, a head-on collision between two passenger cars took place on this section of the road in the evening of July 15. As a result of the accident, three people were injured, including a child.

      Unfortunately, two people received injuries incompatible with life and died at the scene.

      Rescue personnel conducted operations to extract the bodies of the deceased from the damaged vehicles.

      All circumstances and causes of the incident are yet to be established by law enforcement agencies. Specialists continue working at the scene.

      It was previously reported that a criminal case was opened against the offender in the fatal accident in Bolshoy Boldino.
