      On August 18, 2026, at 15:50, Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo" lost to Yaroslavl's "Lokomotiv" in a shootout - 1:2. The match took place on August 18 as part of the preseason preparation.

      The scoring was opened by the Nizhny Novgorod team nine minutes after the start of the match. Forward Sergey Golodnyuk, who is on a trial contract with "Torpedo," scored.

      In the second period, "Lokomotiv" managed to capitalize on a power play and equalized the score.
