      Hurricane winds with gusts of up to 20 m/s struck Dzerzhinsk again on the night of Saturday, August 8. The storm damaged power lines, uprooted trees, and tore off roofing materials. The Unified Dispatching Service and emergency services of the city received 93 reports, said the head of Dzerzhinsk, Mikhail Klinkov, on "VKontakte."

      In total, specialists recorded 20 breaks in power lines and 18 cases of wire entanglement. Electricity has already been restored to 22 residential buildings, and emergency trees have been removed from 25 spans of lines.

      There were also property damages. At 62 Oktyabrskaya Street, the roof of a house was damaged. Fallen trees damaged four cars. Three more cars were affected on the Oka embankment, where the wind tore off roofing iron. Emergency crews worked around the clock. Six teams and eight units of special equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences.
