      On the night of Saturday, August 8, a hurricane wind with gusts up to 20 m/s hit Dzerzhinsk again. Since the evening, all emergency and utility services were put on high alert. This was reported by the mayor of Dzerzhinsk, Mikhail Klinkov, in his Max channel. A total of 93 reports were received by the Unified Dispatching Service and emergency services, most of them concerning accidents on power lines and fallen trees. Specialists recorded at least 20 line breaks and 18 reports of wire entanglements. Power supply was restored to 22 residential buildings, and 25 spans of power lines were cleared of fallen trees. According to Klinkov, the roof of a residential building was damaged at 62 Oktyabrskaya Street, and fallen trees damaged four parked cars. On the Oka embankment, roofing iron was torn off, affecting three cars. "There are still 6 major accidents on the networks, and a phased connection of apartment buildings on Griboedov, Tereshkova, and Suvorov Streets is underway. At the same time, requests for restoring power supply in the private sector of the settlements are being processed. A total of 6 crews and 8 units of special equipment are involved in eliminating the consequences," said the mayor of Dzerzhinsk.
